Greetings
in the name our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I hope you
and your families are safe in this pandemic situation,
The world
is facing a very tough situation never faced before.
The ppl
getting infected by Covid 19 is increasing day by day.
Though we
have to praise God that the recovery rate is increasing, we do have ppl dying
too.
Ppl are
losing their dear ones.
Ppl are
losing their elder parents, siblings and there are parents who losing their
children.
Many bad
stories we have been hearing.
We need to
pray for bereaved families.
It is
God’s grace and his will that we are here today.
And ppl
whose passed away doesn’t mean that they lacked in faith in God or they lacked
in God’s grace.
It doesn’t
make them bad and you good.
It is the
will of God which cannot be questioned.
It is not
the multi vitamin tablets which is keeping you alive today.
It is
completely the will and grace of God and which means he is not done with you
yet.
The bitter
reality is that if not today, tomorrow our time on earth will be completed.
If not
Covid, somehow we will have to leave this place and go to everlasting sleep.
You cannot
save your body forever.
It will
stop breathing one day.
But you
can save your spirit.
We think
more about our body and less about our spirit.
Body has an
age and an expiry date and will end up, but spirit is eternal.
Saving our
bodies, we are all neglecting our Spirit.
We wear
masks and gloves not to be infected for the virus.
What about
the infection in our Spirit? Sin.
Are you
maintaining social distance to Sin?
Do you
sanitize your heart from Sin?
As Jesus
said
Matt 15:11
Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth,
this defiles a man.”

Jesus was
on his last journey to Jerusalem.
Matthew
20:17-19 - Jesus Predicts His Death a Third Time
17 Now
Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said
to them, 18 “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered
over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to
death 19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged (and
spit on him / insult) and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to
life!”
17 యేసు యెరూషలేమునకు వెళ్లనైయున్నప్పుడు ఆయన పండ్రెండుమంది శిష్యులను ఏకాంతముగా తీసికొనిపోయి, మార్గమందు వారితో ఇట్లనెను. 18–ఇదిగో యెరూషలేమునకు వెళ్లుచున్నాము; అక్కడ మనుష్యకుమారుడు

performed lot of miracles on the way and preached the gospel of the kingdom.
John
21:25 Jesus did
many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose
that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be
written.
యేసు చేసిన కార్యములు ఇంకను అనేకములు కలవు. వాటిలో ప్రతిదానిని వివరించి వ్రాసినయెడల అట్లు వ్రాయబడిన గ్రంథములకు భూలోకమైనను చాలదని నాకు తోచుచున్నది.
Luke
recorded only 5 miracles.
This is
the 4th miracle.
The first
3 involves 1 person and last one involves 2 (in Jericho when Jesus heals 2
blind men).
But this
miracle involves 10 ppl with the most terrifying disease.

17:11-19
11 Now it
happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria
and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who
were lepers, who stood afar off.
13 And
they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
11 ఆయన యెరూషలేమునకు ప్రయాణమై పోవుచు సమరయ గలిలయలమధ్యగా వెళ్లుచుండెను. 12 ఆయన యొక గ్రామములోనికి వెళ్లుచుండగా పదిమంది కుష్ఠ రోగులు ఆయనకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చి దూరమున నిలిచి 13–యేసు ప్రభువా, మమ్ము కరుణించుమని కేకలు వేసిరి.
14 So when
He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it
was that as they went, they were cleansed.
14 ఆయన వారిని చూచి–మీరు వెళ్లి, మిమ్మును యాజకులకు కనుపరచుకొనుడని వారితో చెప్పెను. వారు వెళ్లుచుండగా, శుద్ధులైరి.
15 And one
of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice
glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And
he was a Samaritan.
15 వారిలో ఒకడు తనకు స్వస్థత కలుగుట చూచి
16 గొప్ప శబ్దముతో దేవుని మహిమ పరచుచు,
తిరిగి వచ్చి ఆయనకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లిం చుచు,
ఆయన పాదములయొద్ద సాగిలపడెను;
వాడు సమరయుడు.
17 So
Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this
foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you
well.”
17 అందుకు యేసు–పదిమంది శుద్ధులైరి కారా; ఆ తొమ్మండుగురు ఎక్కడ?
18 ఈ అన్యుడు తప్ప దేవుని మహిమపరచుటకు తిరిగి వచ్చినవాడెవడును అగపడలేదా అని చెప్పి
19–నీవు లేచిపొమ్ము, నీ విశ్వాసము నిన్ను స్వస్థపరచెనని వానితో చెప్పెను.

When Jesus
was on the way to Jerusalem, He entered a certain village.
There met
Him ten lepers, who stood afar off.
We all
know what leprosy disease is.
కుష్ఠు వ్యాధి
(ఆంగ్లం: Leprosy) శరీరమంతా పుండ్లతో
కనిపించే ఒక
తిష్ట వ్యాధి
(infectious disease)
It comes
from a kind of bacteria.
You get scales
on your skin.
Your
fingers and limbs get contracted into your body.
You lose
your senses, because of which the scales on your skins becomes wounds.
Because
lake of senses, you will not feel the pain of your body being spoiled.
It affects
your face; hence ppl covered their faces.
History
shows us ppl missing their limbs when they wake up in the morning, realizing
that rats have eaten them.
History
also tells us that ppl use to wash their face with hot water, not knowing the
temperature. ending up washing their face with hot water and gradually face
getting spoiled and became blind.
Their wounds
smell.
Their
bones and joints get affected and without knowing that ppl start limping and
their back bends.
Though it
is not contagious, You can catch it only if you come into close and repeated
contact with nose and mouth droplets from someone with untreated leprosy.
And in
those days, it was incurable.
Hence ppl
were asked to stay away from the family and away from the town, outside the
city.
Ppl were
considered as outcast.
India was
one of the countries most affected by leprosy.
Even here
ppl were considered as outcasts.
Christian
Missionaries came to India to help these ppl and show the love of Christ.
Well know
figures are non-other than Mother Teresa and Graham Staines.
Even
though we have medicine in the present days, India has most number of cases and
our govt has set the world largest program to eradicate leprosy from our
country.
In the
Bible, God gives instructions on how to treat a person with leprosy in those
days.
Lev 13
and 14.
Lev
13:45-46. 45 “Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and
his head bare; and he shall cover his mustache, and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ 46
He shall be unclean. All the days he has the sore he shall be unclean. He is
unclean, and he shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.
Num 5:2
“Command the sons of Israel that they send away from the camp every leper and
everyone having a discharge and everyone who is unclean because of a dead
person.
Lev
14:33-57. 45 He shall therefore tear down the house, its stones, and its
timbers, and all the plaster of the house, and he shall take them outside the
city to an unclean place.
No family
No house
No more
social life.
You will
be cast away from the city.
The only
companion you have, are the other lepers.
It’s a
pathetic life. దయనీయమైనది
And here
we see ten lepers lifting up their voices “Jesus,
Master, have mercy on us!”
Since
Jesus became famous for his miracles curing ppl from all sickness and diseases,
they know what Jesus could do.
Matt
4:23-25. 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues,
preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and
all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout
all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with
various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics,
and paralytics; and He healed them. 25 Great multitudes followed
Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.
Jesus

on us.
యేసు ప్రభువా, మమ్ము కరుణించుమని కేకలు వేసిరి.

So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.”

వారిని
చూచి–మీరు

మిమ్మును

కనుపరచుకొనుడని
వారితో
చెప్పెను.
The
priests were supposed to certify the ppl as clean.
And it was
a days procedure.
You have
to be quarantined for few days and you will be checked again and once they
announce you as clean, you have rituals and sacrifices to perform.
And so it
was that as they went, they were cleansed.
వారు వెళ్లుచుండగా, శుద్ధులైరి.
While they
were on the way, they were healed.
A
doubtless faith. నిస్సందేహంగా విశ్వాసం
Jesus
told, they did it.
This reminds us The Roman officer – Matthew 8:5-13 / Luke 7:1-10
Matt
8:8...just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
8 ఆ శతాధిపతి–ప్రభువా, ... నీవు మాట మాత్రము సెలవిమ్ము, అప్పుడు నా దాసుడు స్వస్థపరచబడును.
10 Now
when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly
I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.
10 యేసు ఈ మాట విని ఆశ్చర్యపడి, వెంట వచ్చుచున్నవారిని చూచి–ఇశ్రాయేలులో నెవనికైనను నేనింత విశ్వాసమున్నట్టు చూడ లేదని నిశ్చయముగా మీతో చెప్పుచున్నాను.
13 And
Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have
believed.” And the servant was healed that very moment.
13అంతట యేసు – ఇక వెళ్లుము; నీవు విశ్వసించిన ప్రకారము నీకు అవునుగాకని శతాధిపతితో చెప్పెను. ఆ గడియలోనే అతని దాసుడు స్వస్థతనొందెను.
These ten
ppl had the same doubtless faith, that Jesus would heal them from their
leprosy.
Jesus
said, they all went.
We see,
while they were on the way, they were healed.
They all might
have noticed the leprosy scales were healed.
Their
wounds were healed.
The fluids
stopped coming out.
Their
bones were fixed.
As per the
law, the first thing they had to do, was to visit the priest to get certified
that they are cleaned.
Jesus
wanted them to be cleaned and Jesus himself said to show themselves to the
priest.
All of
them continued their way to the priest.
But one
person returned (తిరిగి వచ్చి). Took a U turn.
And one of
them, when he saw that he was healed,
15 వారిలో ఒకడు తనకు స్వస్థత కలుగుట చూచి
returned,
and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His
feet, giving Him thanks.
16 గొప్ప శబ్దముతో దేవుని మహిమ పరచుచు, తిరిగి వచ్చి ఆయనకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించుచు, ఆయన పాదములయొద్ద సాగిలపడెను;

This
person glorified God.
Luke
13:10-13
Jesus
heals a woman who had a spirit of infirmity (Satan has bound) eighteen years,
and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.
పదునెనిమిది ఏండ్లనుండి బలహీన పరచు దయ్యము పట్టిన (సాతాను బంధించిన) యొక స్త్రీ అచ్చట నుండెను. ఆమె నడుము వంగిపోయి యెంత మాత్రమును చక్కగా నిలువబడలేకుండెను.
He laid
His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
13. ఆమె మీద చేతులుంచగానే ఆమె చక్కగా నిలువబడి దేవుని మహిమపరచెను.

said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.” వాడు–ప్రభువా, చూపు పొందగోరుచున్నాననెను.
42 Then
Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43 And
immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all
the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.
42 యేసు–చూపుపొందుము, నీ విశ్వాసము నిన్ను స్వస్థపరచెనని వానితో చెప్పెను; 43 వెంటనే వాడు చూపుపొంది దేవుని మహిమపరచుచు ఆయనను వెంబడించెను. ప్రజలందరు అది చూచి దేవుని స్తోత్రము చేసిరి.
And this
person fell down at Jesus feet, giving Him thanks.
Looks like
he knew the gravity of the diseases he was healed from.
No more
wounds.
His skin
became clean.
No more
torn clothes.
He can
come back to the society.
He can
unite with his family.
He no more
has to keep calling himself Unclean! Unclean!
This
person fell down on his face at His feet ఆయన
పాదములయొద్ద సాగిలపడెను
giving
Him thanks ఆయనకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించుచు
If we are
taking about giving thanks to God, nothing better than this time.
Ppl are
leaving their breath just like that.
The lady
who was fine at 5pm was dead by 5:30pm. Everything changed in half an hour.
The father
who said ill come by evening and went Vjwd, did not return. Their children
never saw his again.
Sometime
we think something big needs to happen to thank God.
There is
no guarantee for life.
You had a
nice sleep and woke up in the morning. Thank God.
You
reached office safely. Thank God.
You worked
all 8 hours. Thank God.
You
reached home safely. Thank God.
You had
dinner with your family. Thank God.
You have
food on your table. Thank God.
You have a
job. Thank God.
There are
ppl out there who lost their jobs.
There are
people out there who are eating one meal per day.
There are
people who are drinking water and filling their stomach.
And we
here are hesitating to Thank God.
Thank God
and pray for them so that God can provide all their needs.
"Give
thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for
you." 1 Thess. 5:18

Out of the
ten lepers, 9 were Jews and this one person was a gentile.
Jesus
always gave first preference to the people of Israel / Jews, based on the
promise he gave to Abraham.
[Acts
3:25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our
fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth
shall be blessed.’

Matthew 15: 21-28 a
Canaanite woman begs for Jesus to save her daughter who is possessed by a demon

Solomon’s Portico: Acts 3:26 For you first, God raised up His Servant and sent

26 దేవుడు తన సేవకుని పుట్టించి, మీలో ప్రతివానిని వాని దుష్టత్వమునుండి మళ్లించుటవలన మిమ్ము నాశీర్వదించుటకు ఆయనను మొదట మీయొద్దకు పంపెనని చెప్పెను.

Acts 13:46 Paul and

Romans 1:16 For I am not
ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who
believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
16 సువార్తనుగూర్చి నేను సిగ్గుపడువాడను కాను. ఏలయనగా నమ్ము ప్రతివానికి, మొదట యూదునికి, గ్రీసుదేశస్థునికి కూడ రక్షణ కలుగజేయుటకు అది దేవుని శక్తియై యున్నది.౹
Romans 2:10 but glory and
honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the
Greek.
10 సత్‌క్రియచేయు ప్రతివానికి, మొదట యూదునికి గ్రీసుదేశస్థునికికూడ, మహిమయు ఘనతయు సమాధానమును కలుగును.౹
But here
we see none of the Jews came back to give glory to God, except this gentile.
And Jesus
is asking where are the nine?
Usually we
call this incident as the Ten Lepers.
But one
preacher called it as “Ten Men Healed, One Man Saved (Luke 17:11-19)”
పది మంది స్వస్థత పొందారు, ఒక వ్యక్తి రక్షణ పొందాడు
We need
to understand that Christian Life is a combination of Faith, Glorifying God and
Thanksgiving.
ఆ తొమ్మండుగురు ఎక్కడ?
ఈ అన్యుడు (వాడు సమరయుడు) తప్ప దేవుని మహిమపరచుటకు తిరిగి వచ్చినవాడెవడును అగపడలేదా
Out of ten
lepers all ten were healed.
But only
one returned to glorify and thanking God falling at His feet.
We need to
understand that these 10 lepers asked for physical healing and based on their
faith, they were healed.
It was a
physical healing what they all received.
But the
man who returned to glorify and thank God received spiritual healing too.
While the
9 ppl were physically healed, they were happy with their physical healing and
went to their religion, to meet the priests and offer the sacrifices.
But this
one person returned to the feet of Jesus.
They were
all supposed to come too, but they didn’t hence Jesus asked where are the nine?
Though
they had the faith to get physically healed, they did not have the faith to get
spiritually healed by coming to the feet of Jesus.
Most of
the time we too have physical faith than spiritual faith.
We have
faith that God would give us good health.
We have
faith that God would give us good jobs.
We have
faith that God would bless us financially.
We have
faith that God would bless our children.
We have
faith that God will give us good promotions.
We have
faith that God will help us out from all our problems.
Isn’t it?
Because
Jesus said Matthew
21:22 "And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have
faith."

What about
the faith regarding your Spiritual life?
What did
Jesus mean when he said
Jn
11:25...He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever
lives and believes in Me shall never die... నాయందు
విశ్వాసముంచువాడు చనిపోయినను బ్రదుకును;౹ 26 బ్రదికి నాయందు విశ్వాసముంచు ప్రతివాడును ఎన్నటికిని చనిపోడు…
[Jn 11:25 అందుకు యేసు–పునరుత్థానమును జీవమును నేనే; నాయందు విశ్వాసముంచువాడు చనిపోయినను బ్రదుకును;౹
26 బ్రదికి నాయందు విశ్వాసముంచు ప్రతివాడును ఎన్నటికిని చనిపోడు. ఈ మాట నమ్ముచున్నావా? అని ఆమెను నడిగెను.౹]
Basically,
The Bible tells us that, we have a Soul inside our Body.
Your Body
will die, but your Soul is eternal.
One day
your soul will be risen.
Jn 5:28 Do
not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves
will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the
resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of
condemnation.
28 దీనికి ఆశ్చర్యపడకుడి;
ఒక కాలమువచ్చుచున్నది;
ఆ కాలమున సమాధులలో నున్నవారందరు ఆయన శబ్దము విని౹
29 మేలు చేసినవారు జీవ పునరుత్థానమునకును,

That’s why
Jesus says, Jn 11:25 … “I am the resurrection and the life... యేసు–పునరుత్థానమును జీవమును నేనే; "
1 cor 15
20 But now
Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have
[d]fallen asleep.
20 … నిద్రించినవారిలో ప్రథమఫలముగా క్రీస్తు మృతులలోనుండి లేపబడియున్నాడు.౹
22...in
Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the
firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.
...క్రీస్తునందు అందరు బ్రదికింపబడుదురు.౹ 23 ప్రతివాడును తన తన వరుసలోనే బ్రదికింపబడును; ప్రథమ ఫలము క్రీస్తు; తరువాత క్రీస్తు వచ్చినపుడు ఆయనవారు బ్రది కింపబడుదురు.౹
And
Jesus was Martha in Jn 11 Do you believe this? ఈ మాట నమ్ముచున్నావా?
And he
is asking you today “Do you believe this? ఈ మాట నమ్ముచున్నావా?
Your faith
shouldn’t only belong about your physical body but also to the place God is
preparing for you.
What was
Abraham looking for?
8 By faith
Abraham (Issac Jacob)...10...waited for the city which has foundations, whose
builder and maker is God.
8 అబ్రాహాము ....విశ్వాసమునుబట్టి ...10...దేవుడు దేనికి శిల్పియు నిర్మాణకుడునై యున్నాడో, పునాదులుగల ఆ పట్టణముకొరకు అబ్రా హాము ఎదురుచూచుచుండెను.౹
11 By
faith Sarah...judged Him faithful who had promised.
విశ్వాసమునుబట్టి శారాయు వాగ్దానము చేసినవాడు నమ్మదగినవాడని యెంచు కొనెను
13 These
all died in faith... 16...they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country.
Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city
for them.
13 వీరందరు ఆ వాగ్దానముల ఫలము అనుభవింపక పోయినను, దూరమునుండి చూచి వందనముచేసి, తాము భూమి మీద పరదేశులమును యాత్రికులమునై యున్నామని ఒప్పుకొని, విశ్వాసముగలవారై మృతినొందిరి.౹
16 అయితే వారు మరి శ్రేప్ఠమైన దేశమును, అనగా పరలోకసంబంధమైన దేశమును కోరుచున్నారు. అందుచేత తాను వారి దేవుడనని అనిపించుకొనుటకు దేవుడు వారినిగూర్చి సిగ్గుపడడు; ఏలయనగా ఆయన వారికొరకు ఒక పట్టణము సిద్ధపరచియున్నాడు.
27 By
faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as
seeing Him who is invisible.
27 విశ్వాసమునుబట్టి అతడు అదృశ్యుడైనవానిని చూచుచున్నట్టు స్థిరబుద్ధిగలవాడై, రాజాగ్రహమునకు భయపడక ఐగుప్తును విడిచిపోయెను.౹
By
faith...35...Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might
obtain a better resurrection.
35 (విశ్వాసమునుబట్టి) కొందరు మృతులైన తమ వారిని పునరుత్థానమువలన మరల పొందిరి. కొందరైతే మరి శ్రేప్ఠమైన పునరుత్థానము పొందగోరి విడుదల పొంద నొల్లక యాతనపెట్టబడిరి.౹
39 And all
these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the
promise, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not
be made perfect apart from us.
39-40 వీరందరు తమ విశ్వాసముద్వారా సాక్ష్యము పొందినవారైనను. మనములేకుండ సంపూర్ణులుకాకుండు నిమిత్తము, దేవుడు మనకొరకు మరి శ్రేప్ఠమైనదానిని ముందుగా సిద్ధపరచెను గనుక వీరు వాగ్దానఫలము అనుభవింప లేదు.
This is
the level of Faith we need to have.

This is to My Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to
be My disciples.
8 మీరు బహుగా ఫలించుటవలన నా తండ్రి మహిమపరచబడును; ఇందువలన మీరు నా శిష్యులగుదురు.౹
1 Peter
2:12 Conduct yourselves with such honor among the Gentiles that, though they
slander you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the
day He visits us.
12 అన్యజనులు మిమ్మును ఏ విషయములో దుర్మార్గులని దూషింతురో, ఆ విషయములో వారు మీ సత్క్రియలను చూచి, వాటినిబట్టి దర్శనదినమున దేవుని మహిమపరచునట్లు, వారిమధ్యను మంచి ప్రవర్తనగలవారై యుండవలెనని మిమ్మును బతిమాలుకొనుచున్నాను.

Hebrews 12:28-29 "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with

Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who has
qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.

మనలను అంధకారసంబంధమైన అధికారములోనుండి విడుదలచేసి, తాను ప్రేమించిన తన కుమారునియొక్క రాజ్యనివాసులనుగా చేసెను.౹
The 10
lepers were physically healed, but only one Leper came back to the feet of
Jesus and saved his soul too.
Its time
for us to think if we are happy with our physical blessings and missing on our
spiritual blessings.
The 9
lepers got healed and went into the world.
One
Leper got healed and came to the feet of Jesus. He was physically and
spiritually saved.
How is our
spiritual faith?
Are we
glorifying God not only in words but in deeds?
What
are thanking God for?
What
are you following God for?
Why is
Christ your savior?
For the
worldly things?
John 6:26
Jesus answered, "Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not
because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had
your fill.

Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things
that they had heard and seen, as it was told them. (“11 For there is born to
you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”)

In Luke
2:25-32 why was Simeon waiting for the Messiah?

coming in that instant she gave thanks to [j]the Lord, and spoke of Him to all
those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
38 ఆమె కూడ ఆ గడియలోనే లోపలికి వచ్చి దేవుని కొనియాడి, యెరూషలేములో విమోచనకొరకు కనిపెట్టుచున్నవారందరితో ఆయననుగూర్చి మాటలాడుచుండెను.
What were
these people looking for the Messiah?
For their
physical needs?
No.
For the
redemption of their souls.
Mark 8:
36 For what will it profit a
man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
ఒకడు
సర్వలోకమును సంపాదించుకొని తన ప్రాణమును పోగొట్టుకొనుట వానికేమి ప్రయోజనము?
37 Or what
will a man give in exchange for his soul?
మనుష్యుడు తన ప్రాణమునకు ప్రతిగా ఏమి ఇయ్య గలుగును?
Hence just
as you take care of your body, by keeping it safe from infections/virus,
More than
that, take care of your soul, by keeping it safe from sin.
Remember! Body
is temporary, your Soul is permanent.
