When we lose our loved one, no one else can understand the pain more than the ones who spent more time with them. We miss their presences.

Only in the word of God we can find comfort and strength. Only God can comfort us.

 

Every birthday we spend, takes us close to our death day. Death is something no one can escape.

 

As the psalmist says in Psalm 89:48

What man can live and not see death?

Can he deliver his life from the power of the grave? Selah.

మరణమును చూడక బ్రదుకు నరుడెవడు?

పాతాళముయొకక వశము కాకుుండ తనుు తాను తప్ప ుంచుకొనగలవాడెవడు?

 

 

Whether rich or poor, everyone who is born, has to see death. Every living thing on this earth has an expiry date.

If not today, tomorrow.

 

 

As the Bible says, there is time for everything under heaven.

2 A time to be born, And a time to die;

A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;

2 పుట్టుటకు, చచుు టకు; నాట్టటకు నాటరడినదాని పెరికివేయుటకు,

3 A time to kill, And a time to heal;

A time to break down, And a time to build up;

3 చుంపుటకు బాగుచేయుటకు; పడగొట్టుటకు కట్టుటకు;

And King Solomon, the writer of Ecclesiastes బ్పసుంగి continues in chapter 3 But he starts the chapter saying

To everything there is a season,

And To everything there is a A time for every purpose under heaven:

 

 

Ecclesiastes బ్పసుంగి 3 Everything Has Its Time

1 To everything there is a season,

1 బ్పతిదానికి సమయము కలదు.

A time for every purpose under heaven:

ఆకాశము బ్కిుంద బ్పతి బ్పయతు మునకు సమయము కలదు.

And he goes on

 

 

The psalmist also mentions in

Psalm 103:15-16

As for man, his days are like grass;

As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer.

15 నరుని ఆయువు గడిివలె నును ది

అడవి పువుు                       పూయునట్టు వాడు పూయును. 16 దానిమీద గాలి వీచగా అది లేకపోవును

ఆ మీదట దాని చోట్ట దాని నెరుగదు.

 

 

So we all need to understand that, we all will die one day. We don’t know which day.

 

 

Here I’m not trying to make you feel sad and discouraged about life, but do give you hope.

 

 

Hence as Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and Jacob accepted,

…తాము భూమి మీద పరదేశులమును యాబ్తికులమునై యునాు మని ఒపుప కొని…

Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

13 వీరందరు ఆ వాగ్దానముల ఫలము అనుభవంపక పోయినను, దూరమునుండి చూచి వందనముచేసి, తాము భూమి మీద పరదేశులమును యాత్రికులమునై యున్నా మని ఒప్పు కొని, వశ్వా సముగలవారై మృినందిరి.

We too need to accept this fact.

 

 

But where were Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and Jacob travelling to?

10 ఏలయనగా దేవుడు దేనికి శిలిప యు నిర్మా ణకుడునై యునాు డో, పునాదులుగల ఆ పటుణముకొరకు అబ్బా హాము ఎదురుచూచుచుుండెను.

...

13 వీరుందరు ఆ వాగాా నముల ఫలము అనుభవిుంపక పోయినను, దూరమునుుండి చూచి వుందనముచేసి, తాము భూమి మీద పరదేశులమును యాబ్తికులమునై యునాు మని ఒపుప కొని, విశ్వు సముగలవారై మృతినుందిరి.

16 అయితే వారు మరి బ్ేపమైఠ

న దేశమును, అనగా పరలోకసుంరుంధమైన దేశమును కోరుచునాు రు.

 

 

 

 

 

It all depends on your perception about death. What is death?

Death is never an end point. It’s a transformation or change. రూపాుంతరము / మారుప

 

A soul once born, there is no death.

Death is only for the physical body but not to the spirit.

 

 

That is why Paul says:

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Therefore encourage one another with these words."

13 సహోదరులార్మ, నిరీక్షణలేని యితరులవలె మీరు దుుఃఖపడకుుండు నిమితతము, నిబ్దిుంచుచును వారిని గూరిు మీకు తెలియకుుండుట మాకిష్ుములేదు.

14 యేసు మృతి పుంది తిరిగి లేచెనని మనము నమిా నయెడల,

అదే బ్పకారము యేసునుందు నిబ్దిుంచినవారిని దేవుడాయనతోకూడ వుంటబెట్టుకొని వచుు  ను.

15 మేము బ్పభువుమాటనురట్టు మీతో చెపుప నదేమనగా, బ్పభువు ర్మకడవరకు సజీవులమై నిలిచియుుండు మనము నిబ్దిుంచినవారికుంటె ముుందుగా ఆయన సనిు ధి చేరము.

16 ఆర్మా టముతోను, బ్పధానదూత శరాముతోను, దేవుని బూరతోను పరలోకమునుుండి బ్పభువు దిగివచుు ను; బ్ీసుతనుందుుండి మృతులైనవారు మొదట లేతురు.

17 ఆ మీదట సజీవులమై నిలిచి యుుండు మనము వారితోకూడ ఏకముగా బ్పభువును ఎదుర్కక నుటకు ఆకాశముండలమునకు మేఘములమీద కొనిపోరడుదుము.

కాగా మనము సదాకాలము బ్పభు వుతోకూడ ఉుందుము.

18 కారట్టు మీరు ఈ మాటలచేత ఒకనినకడు ఆదరిుంచుకొనుడి.

First Question:

Do you believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead?

If yes, యేసు మృతి పుంది తిరిగి లేచెనని మనము నమిా నయెడల

as Paul said in

1 Cor 15:20-23 20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have [d]fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

20 ఇపుప డైతే నిబ్దిుంచినవారిలో బ్పథమఫలముగా బ్ీసుత మృతులలోనుుండి లేపరడియునాు డు. 21

మనుష్యు ని దాు ర్మ మరణము వచెు ను గనుక మనుష్యు ని దాు ర్మనే మృతుల పునరుతాా నమును కలిగెను. 22 ఆదామునుందు అుందరు ఏలాగు మృతిపుందుచునాు రో, ఆలాగుననే బ్ీసుతనుందు అుందరు బ్రదికిుంపరడుదురు. 23 బ్పతివాడును తన తన వరుసలోనే బ్రదికిుంపరడును; బ్పథమ ఫలము బ్ీసుత; తరువాత బ్ీసుత వచిు నపుడు ఆయనవారు బ్రదికిుంపరడుదురు.

 

 

So బ్పతివాడును … బ్రదికిుంపరడును

In fact, not only believers but also gentiles will be risen.

 

 

So all our loved ones will be resurrected one day.

 

 

 

 

However, we need more clarity on this. What after we get resurrected?

 

Prophet Daniel tells us that in

Daniel 12:2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

2 మరియు సమాధులలో నిబ్దిుంచు అనేకులు మేలుకొనెదరు;

·       కొుందరు నితు జీవము అనుభ విుంచుటకును,

·       కొుందరు నిుందపాలగుటకును నితు ముగా హేయులగుటకును మేలుకొుందురు.

 

Both the destinations are everlasting. Everlasting life

Everlasting contempt

So based on the resurrection on Jesus Christ, we know that every man is going to resurrected. The point to be noted is where is our destination.

 

 

That is why Paul says 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

14 యేసు మృతి పుంది తిరిగి లేచెనని మనము నమిా నయెడల,

అదే బ్పకారము యేసునుందు నిబ్దిుంచినవారిని దేవుడాయనతోకూడ వుంటబెట్టుకొని వచుు  ను.

·       యేసునుందు నిబ్దిుంచినవారిని

·       దేవుడాయనతోకూడ వుంటబెట్టుకొని వచుు ను

16 ఆర్మా టముతోను, బ్పధానదూత శరాముతోను, దేవుని బూరతోను పరలోకమునుుండి బ్పభువు దిగివచుు ను; బ్ీసుతనుందుుండి మృతులైనవారు మొదట లేతురు.

·       పరలోకమునుుండి బ్పభువు దిగివచుు ను

·       బ్ీసుతనుందుుండి మృతులైనవారు మొదట లేతురు

 

 

 

 

And we who are living here, Paul considers us as

15 v - we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord,

బ్పభువు ర్మకడవరకు సజీవులమై నిలిచియుుండు మనము

 

 

Lord Jesus Christ is coming again.

Hence Jesus says in Matt 24: 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

42 కావున ఏ దినమున మీ బ్పభువు వచుు నో మీకు తెలియదు గనుక మెలకువగా నుుండుడి.

 

 

17 ఆ మీదట సజీవులమై నిలిచి యుుండు మనము వారితోకూడ ఏకముగా బ్పభువును ఎదుర్కక నుటకు ఆకాశముండలమునకు మేఘములమీద కొనిపోరడుదుము.

కాగా మనము సదాకాలము బ్పభు వుతోకూడ ఉుందుము.

 

 

That is why Paul says:

నిరీక్షణలేని యితరులవలె మీరు దుుఃఖపడకుుండు ...మీరు ఈ మాటలచేత ఒకనినకడు ఆదరిుంచుకొనుడి

That is why Paul also says, die is gain

Phil 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. చావైతే లాభము

21 న్నమట్టుకైతే త్రరదుకుట త్రీస్త,ే చావైతే లాభము.

22 అయినను శరీరముతో నేను జీవంచుటయే న్నకునా పనికి ఫలసాధనమైనయెడల నేనేమి కోరుకొందునో న్నకు తోచలేదు.

23 ఈ రంటిమధయ ను ఇరుకునరడియున్నా ను. నేను వడలిపోయి బ్ీసుతతోకూడ నుుండవలెనని నాకు ఆశయును ది, అది నాకు మరి మేలు. (…having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.)

 

 

 

 

 

You know, when is death a lose?

When you die in your sins / పాపములోనేయుుండి చనిపోవుదు

 

 

John 8:21-24. Jesus Predicts His Departure

21 Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you

cannot come.”

22 So the Jews said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, ‘Where I go you cannot come’?”

23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24

Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

21 మరియొకపుప డు ఆయన–నేను వళ్లుపోవుచునాు ను; మీరు ననుు                                                         వదకుదురు గాని మీ పాపములోనేయుుండి చనిపోవుదురు; నేను వళ్లు చోట్టకి మీరు ర్మలేరని వారితో చెపెప ను.

22 అుందుకు యూదులు–నేను వళ్లు చోట్టకి మీరు ర్మలేరని యీయన చెపుప చునాు డే; తనుు                                                                                               తానే చుంపు కొనునా అని చెపుప కొనుచుుండిరి.

23 అపుప డాయన–మీరు బ్కిుందివారు, నేను పైనుుండువాడను; మీరు ఈ లోక సుంరుంధులు, నేను ఈ లోకసుంరుంధుడను కాను.

24 కాగా మీ పాపములలోనేయుుండి మీరు చనిపోవుదురని మీతో చెప్ప తిని. నేను ఆయననని మీరు విశు సిుంచనియెడల మీరు మీ పాపములోనేయుుండి చనిపోవుదురని వారితో చెపెప ను.

 

 

In the same chapter John 8:51

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

51 ఒకడు నా మాట గైకొనినయెడల వాడెను డును మరణము పుందడని మీతో నిశు యముగా చెపుప చునాు నని ఉతతరమిచెు ను.

 

 

Similar word Jesus says to Martha.

John 11:25-26. 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he

shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

25 అుందుకు యేసు–పునరుతాా నమును జీవమును నేనే;

నాయుందు విశ్వు సముుంచువాడు చనిపోయినను బ్రదుకును; (బ్పతివాడును తన తన వరుసలోనే బ్రదికిుంపరడును; బ్పథమ ఫలము బ్ీసుత)

26 బ్రదికి నాయుందు విశ్వు సముుంచు బ్పతివాడును ఎను ట్టకిని చనిపోడు. (మనము సదాకాలము బ్పభు వుతోకూడ ఉుందుము.)

ఈ మాట నముా చునాు వా? అని ఆమెను నడిగెను.

Mark 12: 26 But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush

passage, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living.

26 వారు లేచెదరని మృతులనుగూరిు న సుంగతి మోషే బ్గుంథముందలి పదను గురిుంచిన భాగములో మీరు చదువలేదా? ఆ భాగములో దేవుడు–నేను అబ్బాహాము దేవుడను ఇస్సా కు దేవుడను యాకోబు దేవుడనని అతనితో చెపెప ను. 27 ఆయన సజీవుల దేవుడు గాని మృతుల దేవుడు కాడు.

 

 

 

 

Hence though we have lost our loved ones, there is hope in Jesus Christ. If Jesus wouldn’t have risen, I wouldn’t have been saying this.

Jesus is resurrection, and so all our loved ones will be resurrected one day. And we will meet them and live with God together for ever.
