Cain and
Abel.
Eve gave
birth to two boys.
She named
the first boy Cain (ఆమె గర్భవతియై కయీనును కని–యెహోవా
దయవలన నేనొక మనుష్యుని సంపాదించుకొన్నాననెను.౹) and second boy Abel.
Cain (కయీను భూమిని సేద్యపరచువాడు) was a farmer and Abel (హేబెలు గొఱ్ఱెల కాపరి) was a shepherd.
There was
a time where both the boys brought offerings (అర్పణ)
to the Lord.
Cain
brought the fruit of the ground (కయీను
పొలముపంటలో కొంత యెహోవాకు అర్పణగా తెచ్చెను).
Abel
brought the first born of his flock and of their fat. (హేబెలు కూడ తన మందలో తొలుచూలున పుట్టిన వాటిలో క్రొవ్విన వాటిని కొన్ని తెచ్చెను.)
The Lord
respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering.
యెహోవా హేబెలును అతని యర్పణను లక్ష్య పెట్టెను;౹ కయీనును అతని యర్పణను ఆయన లక్ష్యపెట్టలేదు.
And Cain
was very angry, and his countenance fell. కాబట్టి

We need to
analyze this situation.
Two
different persons.
Two
different offerings (the fruit of the ground and the first born of his flock
and of their fat)
But we
notice only one offering was accepted, the other offering was rejected.
Though we
don’t know what is the exact reason why Cain’s offering was rejected, we see
that the Lard says that Cain did not do it well. (Gen 4: 7 If you do well,
will you not be accepted?.. నీవు సత్క్రియ చేసినయెడల తలనెత్తుకొనవా?.)
When we
bring our offerings to the Lord, we really need to be careful to make sure
everything is well.
We need to
understand whom we are dealing with.
Lets take
an example,
Suddenly
you met with an accident and you need blood to operate.
It’s a
rare blood group.
After a
long wait someone came forward to donate you blood.
And the
operation went well and you are alive, because that person donated his blood.
What would
be your attitude towards him?
I would be
thankful (కృతజ్ఞతతో ఉండండి).
I would be
grateful (కృతజ్ఞత కలిగివున్న).
I would
want to offer him something to show my gratitude (కృతజ్ఞత) towards him. Right?
People gratitude towards my Uncle and Daddy.
Our gratitude towards big ppl in the society.
What we give represents our gratitude towards them.

the same way with God?
We are all
sinners పాపులు
/ ungodly భక్తిహీనులు / enemies శత్రువులు and heading towards hell.

God sent
His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save us from hell.
To save us
from eternal fire, eternal punishment, eternal pain, eternal
cry, eternal darkness.
Eternal means which has no end.
There will
be no end to the fire, punishment, pain, cry and darkness.
Jesus gave
his life on the cross, as a sacrifice for your and my sins.
So that we
may have eternal life.
The pain
he went through was unimaginable.
Isaiah 53

He died
on the cross for us.
1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore

was the attitude, when we offer to God, there were circumstances where God
rejected people sacrifices.
Isaiah
1:11 "The multitude of your sacrifices-- what are they to me?" says the
LORD. "I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of
fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.

about what we are offering, its about our attitude (వైఖరి / ధోరణి / పద్ధతి).
If your
attitude is good, your offering would be good.
Isa
1:13-17. 13 Don't continue bringing me worthless sacrifices! I hate the incense
you burn. I can't stand your New Moons, Sabbaths, and other feast days; I can't
stand the evil you do in your holy meetings. 14 I hate your New Moon feasts and
your other yearly feasts. They have become a heavy weight on me, and I am tired
of carrying it. 15 When you raise your arms to me in prayer, I will refuse to
look at you. Even if you say many prayers, I will not listen to you, because
your hands are full of blood. 16 Wash yourselves and make yourselves clean.
Stop doing the evil things I see you do. Stop doing wrong. 17 Learn to do good.
Seek justice. Punish those who hurt others. Help the orphans. Stand up for the
rights of widows."

Proverbs
21:3 To do righteousness and justice is more desirable to the LORD than

“I don’t want your sacrifices—I want your love; I don’t want your
offerings—I want you to know me.

When we
come to the presence of God, we need to approach with Love, Gratefulness,
Gratitude, Fear and a Clean Heart.
You need
to know whom you are dealing with.
He is our
Creator, our Maker and our Savior.

When we
come to God, we need to realize we are sinners.
And God is
asking our lives to be changed as an offering.
He is
asking obedience.
He is
asking a prayerful life.
He is
asking your love.
He is
asking us to live a righteous and just life.
Hebrews
13:15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to
God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me
from the ground.

23:35 So that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the
blood of innocent Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom you
murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.
